General Estate Information

Aljunied Industrial Estate is bounded by the Pan-Island Expressway and major roads viz Aljunied Road, Geylang East Central and Paya Lebar Road. Built from 1978 to 1980, the estate currently comprises of single storey terrace workshops housing 88 units currently let out on Temporary Occupation Licences (TOL) for food related trades ranging from production of sauces, bottling of fruit juices, noodle making and preparation of cooked food.

Future Plans

Based on URA's Gazetted Master Plan 2008, the estate is currently zoned for Business 1 use (Please visit Urban Redevelopment Authority website to view the Master Plan for the estate. You may key in "Aljunied Avenue " under Streetname query to locate the estate.). There are currently no immediate plans to redevelop the estate within the next 5 years(Please note that this is only estimated timing and is still subject to HDB's yearly reviews on the IRP taking into account of various factors such as economic conditions. ). Pending the future redevelopment plans, the existing TOLs will continue to be renewed up to 3 years.
