Expanding Your Business Space
Eligibility
- All existing HDB industrial tenants are eligible to apply for direct allocation of additional units for expansion purposes.
- Contact the Tenancy Customer Service Officer managing your estate for your expansion needs.
Clearance by Competent Authorities
- Application must be supported by SPRING / EDB.
- Trade is to be cleared by NEA's PCD (& AVA involving handling of food & HSA for medicine related trades).
- Tenant is to obtain his own Factory Licence required.
Rent Payable
- Rent is inclusive of Service & Conservancy Charge (S/CC) and GST.
- Rent Payment due on 1st day of month.
- GIRO is compulsory where deductions would only be made on 28th of each month (You may wish to apply Interbank GIRO via HDB's e-Services or Bank's Website (if available).
Rent-free Period
- A 2-month rent free period given.
- The rent-free shall be withdrawn if occupation is less than 1 year.
Tenure
- Flexi-tenure of 1, 2 or 3 years.
- May commence on mid month.
Condition
Assignment or Subletting is NOT allowed within 3 years from First Commencement.
Concession & Relocation Benefits
Tenant shall not be granted to any rental rebates or relocation benefits (e.g. ex-gratia) if unit is affected by any future relocation.
